The Founder & the Visionary Artist: Mr. Hom Bahadur Tamang
Buddha’s Art of Healing by Sara Enterprises stands as a beacon of cultural preservation and artistic empowerment, nestled within the sacred precincts of Kathmandu’s Boudhanath Stupa—a UNESCO World Heritage site. Established in 1976 AD by the visionary artist Mr. Hom Bahadur Tamang, the school is a testament to a lifelong dedication to traditional Thangka painting. From the tender age of eleven, Mr. Tamang, guided by his elder brother, embarked on a journey that would not only shape his destiny but also illuminate the path for countless others. who is also taking classes on various aspects of Buddhist philosophy. He is deeply passionate about exploring and understanding diverse ideas, often remarking, “Every day is a learning day.” 

At Buddha’s Art of Healing, the essence of this ancient art form is meticulously preserved and passed on through authentic Thangka paintings, handcrafted healing bowls, intricate statues, and resonant gongs. Every day, visitors from around the globe are welcomed to explore the profound history, practices, and philosophies behind each design. This immersive experience is enriched by personal sessions where customers learn about the artistry and its spiritual significance.

A core mission of Buddha’s Art of Healing is to empower women by fostering self-reliance in the realm of traditional art.
