Shakyamuni Buddha Thangka on Brocade - (22" * 27")

The thangka features Shakyamuni Buddha, the enlightened teacher and founder of Buddhism, presented in a classic and peaceful composition. The thangka is beautifully enclosed within a traditional silk brocade frame, enhancing both its visual richness and spiritual presence. 

The Buddha's calm expression, golden body, and radiant halo reflect his awakened state, free from suffering and full of wisdom and compassion. The surrounding landscapes, with soft clouds and symbolic offerings, create a serene and harmonious environment, emphasizing spiritual balance and clarity.

The brocade border is an important part of traditional thangka presentation. The rich blue fabric with intricate golden patterns, along with red and yellow silk accents, frames the sacred image respectfully. The top veil can be drawn down to cover the painting, preserving its sanctity when not in use, while the wooden rods at the top and bottom allow it to hang properly during display.
